Did you know?
Every hour, approximately 3 million tons of plastic waste are released into the environment, with 10% coming from plastic bottles used for conventional cleaning products. So, where does all this waste end up?
Purpose of the event:
This event not only helps reduce plastic waste but also raises awareness about waste sorting and recycling. Moreover, it fosters love for and care of greenery, contributing to a cleaner, healthier living environment. Each plant you receive from the event not only beautifies your surroundings but also improves air quality and the ecosystem.
Let’s give seemingly useless waste a new life!
Types of waste accepted:
- Paper (books, comics, newspapers, photocopies, notebooks, etc.): Minimum 1 kg.
- Recyclable plastic: Minimum 0.5 kg.
- Flattened cans: Minimum 0.5 kg.
- Cleaned and dried milk/juice cartons: 9.5 kg.
- Batteries/electronic waste: At least 10 items.
How to Participate:
- Preparation: Bring at least 2 plastic bottles, clean milk cartons, or old newspapers and books to the event.
- Gifts: Exchange 2 items of any type (plastic bottles/milk cartons/newspapers) to receive 1 succulent plant. When you purchase FUWA3E products worth at least 50,000 VND, you’ll receive an additional succulent plant as a gift.
Note: Each person can receive a maximum of 2 plants. Please clean plastic bottles and milk cartons before bringing them!
Trade Trash for Plants is FUWA’s annual event, and we aim to spread its impact even further. Beyond reducing waste, this program encourages everyone to join hands in building a green, clean, and sustainable living environment.
